Job Description

Paramount Computer Systems is seeking a Cybersecurity Lead (UAE Nationals Only) to join their team.

Experience: 12-14 years

Industry: Services (Medium to Large size), E-Commerce

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity specialists, providing guidance and oversight for effective security solutions.
  • Security Operations: Supervise threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management, ensuring proactive risk mitigation.
  • Policy Development: Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies in compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and prioritize cybersecurity risks, implementing strategies and controls for mitigation.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design and maintenance of security infrastructure, including firewalls and encryption protocols.
  • Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans, ensuring robust disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with departments and external stakeholders to integrate security practices and maintain a secure environment.
  • Security Awareness: Develop and execute training programs to increase cybersecurity awareness across the organization.

Technical Skills/Experience:

  • Cybersecurity Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Frameworks: Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls.
  • Tools and Technologies: Proficiency in vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, SIEM, penetration testing tools, network security, IAM, secure development practices, incident response, and forensics.
  • Compliance: Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and ability to ensure adherence to standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • CISSP, CISM, or CISA certifications: highly desirable.
  • Minimum 8 years in technical cybersecurity with leadership experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, stakeholder relationships, and assess emerging technologies.
  • Technical Background: Deep knowledge of security gaps in diverse environments.
  • People Skills: Collaborative, transparent, with high emotional intelligence.
  • Skill Development: Ability to adapt skills to emerging threats and technologies.
