Assistant Teacher (UAE Nationals Only)

Sunmarke School is looking to hire an Assistant Teacher (UAE Nationals Only) to join their team in Dubai.

Job Purpose:

The role of the Learning Support Assistant (UAE National) is to provide support to Students & Staff in the Early Years & Primary Phases of the School. The Learning Support Assistant will support the teachers in enhancing the effective involvement of students in their academic and social development.

Responsibilities:

• Support & work alongside Teachers planning to support students learning.
• Preparing the learning environment under the direction of the Teacher i.e preparing classrooms materials, equipment & supplies.
• Monitor, maintain & review records of student progress and provide support based on their needs.
• Support the teachers during field trips, group activities, sports events or other events etc.
• Support specific groups of students in lessons so that they may access learning at their own pace.

Job Specification:

• An ‘Outstanding’ teacher with at least 2 years of experience working in an international school.
• The candidate should hold a degree i.e., B.Ed. or a B.A or equivalent.
• Proficient & experienced at teaching Arabic to native & non-native students at FS2, Key Stages 1,2, 3 & 4.
• Fluent in Arabic and English speakers available to work from 7 am – 3.30 pm.
• Strong work ethics along with a commitment to staff & student privacy.
• Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written & oral communication skills in English
• Knowledge of other languages is an advantage
• Only for UAE Nationals holding family book.
