Job Summary:  The Administrative Officer will play a crucial role in managing administrative tasks related to government affairs, specifically for visa and HR administrative functions. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of local regulations and processes.

Candidate Responsibilities:

Government Affairs:

  • Manage all administrative tasks related to visa applications and renewals for employees.
  • Liaise with government authorities and agencies to ensure compliance with immigration and labor laws.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all visa and residency permits for employees.

HR Administrative Tasks:

  • Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, including documentation and orientation.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support payroll processing by providing necessary documentation related to employee status.

Communication:

  • Serve as the point of contact for employees regarding visa and HR-related inquiries.
  • Prepare and disseminate internal communications related to administrative policies and procedures.

Reporting:

  • Generate regular reports on visa status, employee records, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for audits and compliance checks.

Other Administrative Duties:

  • Support the HR team with various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of administrative procedures to enhance efficiency.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably within HR or government affairs.
  • Familiarity with UAE labor laws and visa regulations is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
