Job Description

Rashid & Latifa School is looking to hire Digital Applications & Data Manager (UAE Nationals Only) to join their team in Dubai.

Main Purpose:

We are seeking a Digital Applications and Data Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and maintenance of digital applications and data management systems at RLS Boys and Girls. This role will involve working closely with the Head of Digital Transformation and various departments to correctly manage implementations, identify digital application needs, optimise existing systems and ensure data integrity and security.

Responsibilities

  • Set an exemplary tone for the RLS community through modelling the school’s Purpose, Principles, Practices and Values
  • Collaborate with the Head of Digital Transformation and department heads to understand digital application requirements and priorities.
  • Lead the implementation of digital applications, including learning management systems, student information systems, and other educational technology platforms.
  • Manage the integration of digital applications with existing systems and databases to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Oversee data management processes, including data collection, storage, analysis and reporting.
  • Implement and uphold data security and governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, privacy and compliance with regulations.
  • Lead initiatives to optimise data utilisation and enhance decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Provide training and support to staff on the use of digital applications and data management systems.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in digital applications and data management and make recommendations for improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed to support digital application development and data management initiatives.

Essential Qualities

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital application implementation, data management or related roles, in an educational setting.
  • Strong technical skills in software integrations, database management and data analysis.
  • Experience with popular educational technology platforms and tools, such as learning management systems, student information systems, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of data governance principles, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, FERPA) and best practices in data security.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of digital applications and data management.
