Trane Technologies is providing a 3 – 6 months structured Internship Program for UAE Nationals interested in Mechanical Engineering.

Job Summary
We are looking for performance-oriented, innovative leaders who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus. This internship opportunity offers candidates working toward their Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering exposure to assignments within the HVAC industry. During the internship, you will have access to sales ad application teams, leaders, and have opportunities to network throughout the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Specific internship responsibilities will vary based on your assignment. This internship project is based on Energy Solutions; the activities expected in this role are:
    • Challenge traditional HVAC solutions and design innovative energy saving solutions that utilize all Trane solutions including heating and cooling, where applicable
    • Prepare and help sales team present the value proposition of a solution to customers
    • Conduct a comparative analysis between Trane’s products and competitors’
    • Incorporate controls into HVAC solutions to optimize efficiency and demonstrate it in TBA tools
    • Analyze won and lost jobs technically and commercially and present it to management
  • During your time in the internship program, you will be expected to demonstrate the following:
    • Zeal for new information, knowledge, and experiences; regularly seeking and capitalizing on learning opportunities; quickly assimilating and applying new information
    • Collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the team’s goals and needs
    • Rapidly resolve problems to maximize customer satisfaction
    • Establish courses of action for self and others to ensure work is completed efficiently, such as, prioritizing tasks based on importance

Qualifications

  • Exhibiting passion and interest on developing and expanding knowledge on HVAC systems
  • Pursuing a BS/BA Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0
  • Minimum Work Experience: Junior year status – completed at least one previous internship or relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (minimum of one example in the last four years such as school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional guidance of work projects)
