Special Educational Needs Teacher (UAE Nationals Only)

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teacher (UAE Nationals Only) to join our team.

Working on empowering and supporting our local talent, this position is open exclusively to UAE Nationals.

Key Accountabilities:

• Teaching and Learning for SOD: such as preparing materials, equipment, and lessons; Participating in preparing the IEP’s; Tutoring and class teaching for specified periods; Identifying gifted and talented students
• Assessing SOD Students: such as assessing the individual learning needs of pupils, Evaluating and reporting pupils’ progress and Evaluating the SOD students periodically
• SOD Student Care and Safeguarding: Assisting with the personal care needs of students, coping with challenging behavior and difficult situations & accompanying school field trips if needed
• Communication: Liaising with parents, SOD staff, and other professionals
• Communication: Supporting Head of SOD with department initiatives
• Miscellaneous: Support with substitution classes, Prayer, and Break duties

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education Needs (SEN)
• Desirable: Diploma in teaching SOD children
• Essential experience: 2 Years of SOD teaching experience
• Desirable experience : Experience working in UAE with SOD children
