Job Description

Parsons is looking for Associate Electrical Engineer (UAE Nationals Only) to join their team in Abu Dhabi!

In this role you will get to perform a variety of engineering duties by applying basic engineering techniques and analyses within the electrical discipline.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide support in preparing electrical engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, designs, specifications, data sheets, Bill of Quantities and other construction documents.
  • Carry out designs of Electrical Power distribution systems and prepare electrical LV Designs, using ETAP software.
  • Lighting designs for indoor, outdoor applications using Dialux, and AGI32 software.
  • Prepare Power cable sizing calculations using industry software.
  • Support to carry out electrical Load Flow Study Short Circuit analysis and Earthing design using industry standard software like ETAP.
  • Support to prepare telecom network and MCC Network.
  • Design Fire alarm and Life safety systems and shall be conversant with NFPA as well as Local Civil Defense Regulations.
  • Prepare and Analyze BIM models using tools like CIVIL 3D & NAVISWORKS.
  • Support team to resolve clashes generated in the NAVISWORKS.
  • Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters.
  • Support in preparing and deliver detailed technical reports and presentations for the Clients.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply!
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of working in Civil 3D & Navisworks.
  • Basic Knowledge on Protection coordination and setting of LV & MV Networks.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation skills.
  • Must be a UAE National
